How to Get to Xinyang Normal University

1.Public Transportation

For students who are coming to Beijing, Wuhan, Guangzhou, Zhengzhou or other major cities, you are recommended to take high-speed or slow train to Xinyang Dong Railway station or Xinyang Railway station. Please take a taxi to and tell the bus driver ahead “I want to go to Xinyang Shi Fan Xue Yuan Zheng Men”. After entering the gate, it will take you about 15 minutes to the dormitory building No.27.

2. Bank Account

For international students, your student ID cards are also used for payment in the cafeterias, supermarkets, internet center etc. in the university. Therefore, every student must open an a bank account at Industrial and Commercial Bank of China（ICBC）.In addition, scholarships and allowances from the university are also transferred to that account. 

After you arrive at XYNU, you should go to the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China（ICBC）(中国工商银行南湖路支行）which located near the main gate with your passport, where you can open a bank account, obtain a debit card. You are highly recommended to complete this as early as possible to avoid inconveniences in using your student ID card and get your scholarship.
